Like to get the chance to go head-to-head against our racing editor Clinton Payne in Racenet's Tipping Challenge.
Each week, a racenet newsletter subscriber will be selected and the following week will submit a set of tips on the Sydney Saturday races.
The Guest Tipster, like Clinton, will provide first, second and third selections for each race as well as the day's Best Bet, Next Best Tip and Best Value (must be separate runners in separate races).
The point scoring is based on the winner of the race and is as follows:
Winner Tipped First = 4; Winner Tipped Second = 2, Winner Tipped Third = 1.
There is a 4 point bonus per tip if any of your three special bets win – that's Best Bet, Next Best and Value Bet ‑ but the proviso on the value bet to score the bonus is it must pay $5 or better on the NSW TAB.
To win the weekly Tipping Challenge, you have to outscore Clinton (a dead-heat is a loss).
And if do win, you'll score a $20 racenet Ratings account and remain the Challenger until Clinton outscores you.

The Terms & Conditions: No individual can participate in the Tipping Challenge unless they approve the use of their correct name, which will be published in the Racenet News when the tips are activated live on the racenet website. No aliases can be used. Each individual can only register once and must submit the email address used to receive the racenet Newsletter. The submitted email address will be verified against the Newsletter email address. To register, you must submit all fields in the registration form and accept the terms and conditions of the Tipping Challenge. A challenger will be selected at random by racenet. The challenger will participate when a vacancy arises from a previous challenger being outscored in the Challenge. The randomly selected Challenger will be notified by email of being selected and named the week before in the Racenet Newsletter. The Challenger will submit their tips via a document provided by racenet. The tips must be typed on the document provided by racenet and emailed to racenet no later than noon the Friday before the Saturday meeting the Challenger participates. By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you give racenet permission to use your First Name and Surname, which will be published on the racenet website when the tips are activated and in the racenet newsletter. Points The winner of each race is matched with the tips by The Challenger and Clinton. The following points are applied: Tipped the Winner First = Four (4) Points Tipped the Winner Second = Two (2) Points Tipped the Winner Third = One (1) Point The following bonus points apply to your three selected best bets Best Bet Wins = Four Points Next Best Wins = Four Points Value Bet Wins = Four Points providing the Value Bet paid $5.00 or more the win on the NSW TAB. The Challenger's and Clinton's points are tallied. For the Challenger to win, The Challenger must score more points than Clinton from the points tallied on all races. Level points by both tipsters will result in the Challenger being evicted from the competition. The Challenger will remain the Guest Tipster for as long as he/she outscores Clinton. The Prize Each time a Challenger outscores Clinton, the Challenger will win a $20 Racenet Ratings Account or have their account topped up by the $20.
